What People Say

Thank you for organising such a fun and educational event. As an adult I also had a great time and learnt something about the dragon boat festival myself. The children's zong zi tasted delicious!

Joyful plates is such a wonderful and creative way of introducing cultural events to kids in a clever and interactive way. Well done to the organiser and the team for the amazing work!
Our Story

Joyful Plates was born from our founder, Rachel's desire to bring her heritage to life for her children — and quickly grew into a community of families seeking joy, belonging, and cultural connection.
In 2025, we became a registered not-for-profit to stay true to our mission: to help families connect with culture in meaningful, playful ways.
