Dragonboat Festival: Junior Edition (Children 3 to 5 years)

🐉 Missed out on our Dragon Boat Festival Family Event? Or have kids too young for our previous events? Here's your chance! We're thrilled to announce a special collaboration with Incredible by Five for an unforgettable Dragon Boat Festival learning experience designed just for juniors aged 3 to 5!

🚣‍♀️ Join us for an immersive experience packed with fun activities delivered by early years experts to build cognitive, social, and emotional skills: 

✨ Bilingual storytelling in English and Mandarin 

✨ Pretend and sensory play "Zongzi making station" 

✨ Musical matching game "Grab the Zongzi" 

✨ "Treasure hunt" game with "Bee-Bot" 

✨ Dragon Boat Festival story writing activity

Participants will also receive a goodie bag! 🛍️

How is this workshop different?

This session is designed with the aim of allowing the juniors to immerse fully in the stories and traditions behind this festival, while also keeping some early learning goals in mind (cognitive, social, and emotional skills), to maximise learning within the 2 hours they are with us!

A few of you asked why won't we be cooking with the younger kids unlike at the family event. We have decided to let them fully experience the joy of making rice dumplings, taking away the stress of making a proper rice dumpling (rice dumplings are actually really tricky to make!😌). 

This age group would learn best while exploring the ingredients through their senses,  using some pretend play materials to learn the process of making a rice dumpling.

Also, this means you can drop your kids off if you'd like, but of course you are welcomed to stay too! (Select your option upon checking out)
