What did breakfast look like in your home? ☀️

Perhaps it was kaya toast before school, a warm bowl of congee, nasi lemak wrapped in banana leaf, idli with chutney, pandesal, onigiri—or something only your family made.

The Great Asian Breakfast Picnic is a community potluck celebrating the breakfasts we grew up with and the memories, traditions and people behind them.

Bring your family and friends, contribute a breakfast dish to our shared table, and discover what breakfast means to families from across Asia. 💛

🧺 How the community potluck works

This is a free event, but every booking group must complete the following two requirements:

1️⃣ Bring an Asian breakfast dish to share

Each booking group must bring one ready-to-serve Asian breakfast dish with approximately 5 small tasting portions per person attending.

Your dish may be homemade or purchased. All dishes will be arranged and served from one central shared table by the event team.

When booking, we’ll ask you to tell us what dish you are bringing, we will also share some ideas and recipes before the event in a group chat if you need some inspiration!

2️⃣ Complete the Singapore Global Network survey

The survey link is given at checkout and also included in your booking confirmation email and must be completed before the event.

⚠️ Your tickets will only be valid once your group has nominated a dish to share and completed the survey.

🎟️ Before booking

Please reserve the correct number of free tickets for everyone attending in your group. Only one dish is required per booking group.

Every dish forms part of our community meal, so please only register if your group is able to bring something to share.

If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible. This allows us to offer your places to another family and helps prevent food waste.

This is a community potluck featuring food prepared or purchased by participating families.

Ingredients and known allergens will be displayed wherever possible, but we cannot guarantee that any dish or the event environment will be completely free from allergens.
