Families will have the opportunity to explore different stations, each offering a unique cultural experience:

  • Create your own lanterns inspired by traditional Vietnamese and Singaporean/Malaysian designs. A perfect hands-on activity for the whole family!Lantern Making🏮

As the event transitions into the evening, we'll darken the room to simulate a serene night environment. Children can take a "night walk" with their lit lanterns, enjoy shadow storytelling, and participate in a "moon watching" experience. Families are invited to sit under the "moon and stars" on picnic mats, share light snacks and drinks, and tell stories about their own family traditions.🌕🌃"Night Walks," Shadow Storytelling, and "Moon Watching"

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the many lands on which we meet, work and live, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present - people who have sung their songs, danced their dances and told their stories on these lands for thousands of generations, and who continue to do so.
