Makan Kakis Club – A Cozy Food Adventure for Families!

🥢🍜 A small, cozy gathering where food, fun, and friendships come together!

The Makan Kakis Club isn’t just another cooking workshop—it’s a community experience where kids and families can connect, play, and share meals in a warm, friendly setting.

Each session explores a different part of Singapore’s rich food culture through hands-on activities, nostalgic games, and shared meals. Unlike our larger events, this is a smaller-scale, cozy experience designed to encourage conversation, bonding, and new friendships.

💡 This is a recurring workshop series! Each session features a different food theme with unique activities, so you can join multiple sessions and experience something new every time!

Every Workshop starts with an Intro (usually a story), then we go into cooking, and crafting and enjoying our food of labour together. 🤩

☕This Workshop's Theme: Joyful Kopitiam 

📍Parkview Meeting Room Epping📅 4 May

• Make Kaya Toast (take turns to whisk and prepare fresh kaya with us! it's lots of whisking and will be a group effort)

• Soft Boiled Eggs

• Make Kopi with Kopi Sock (Kids role play as Kopi Uncle or Aunty and take orders from parents)

• Make Milo Dinosaur

• Paint Nanyang Kopi Cup and Saucer

🔥 Zi Char Stall [📍Forster Hall 📅 7 Sep] – Make fried Mantou with Chilli Crab Sauce (with or without the spice) and design your own Takeaway box inspired cushion!
