 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Age group: Families with children aged 3 to 10

Celebrate Diwali with a vibrant journey through different regions of India. Engage in various activities, including diya ("oil lantern") making, making chocolate laddoo (an Indian dessert), traditional games, and creating intricate rangoli designs. The event will conclude with a showcase of all the creations, highlighting the diverse aspects of Diwali.

  1.  "Lights of the North": Diya (Oil Lantern) making - Add gems, stickers and paint your own diya to bring home🔥

  2. Culinary Delight Station - "Laddoos of the West" : Chocolate laddoo making. A favourite Indian dessert with a twist - who doesn't like chocolate?🟤🟤🟤

  3. Game Station - "Eastern Spice Fun": Traditional Indian games - Giant Snakes & Ladders (Saanp Seedi) 🐍🪜and Seven Stones (Lagori)🪨🪨⚽

  4. Creative Station - "Southern Vibrance": Rangoli Making competition where children can create intricate patterns using colored powders, rice, or flowers.🪷

  5. Goodie bag - Each child (3 to 10) will receive a goodie bag with toys and snacks! 😋

Finale: Unity in Diversity - The event will end with a showcase of all the creations, where families can admire the diyas, taste the laddoos, enjoy the game stations, and walk through the beautiful rangolis. This final moment ties all the different aspects of Diwali together, representing the diverse traditions of India that make the festival so special. Children will leave with a deeper understanding of the cultural richness of Diwali, a sense of accomplishment, and a stronger connection to their heritage. 🥰
